This 4th of July, upwards of 50,000 people are expected to attend the street fair in downtown Ventura for a celebration of our country's independence. For 2013, the city of Ventura is commemorating its city hall's centennial.
The festivities are spread out from Main Street to Fir Street and extend to Ventura Avenue, California, Chestnut and Oak. There will be six stages featuring different types of crowd-pleasing entertainment, as well as arts and crafts, activity booths and a wide variety of food.
The street fair is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors and to have fun in the sun while celebrating our nation's greatness. You will feel patriotic pride as you watch the parade and listen to stirring music. Of course, no 4
th of July celebration would be complete without a beautiful and inspiring fireworks display, and the celebration in Ventura will fill the night sky with bursting colors designed to make you proud to be in America.
