Going green for Earth Day doesn't mean you have to make major changes in your life. Earth Day every April is a reminder that even small changes, made by many, can have a big impact. Here are some small changes you can make.
  • Start with something close to home for us. That means signing up for electronic billing and payments. You will save paper on both ends of the transaction and save some postage at the same time!
  • Drive less and bike or walk more. If you end up driving significantly less it may actually help your auto insurance rates. Plus you'll get exercise and reduce your carbon footprint.
  • If you are remodeling, consider switching to LED lighting. Advances in LED lighting have made them more practical for home use and they really save on electricity.
  • Really step up your recycling efforts. Recycling is making a major impact around the world and yet we can still do better.
